ParNum is a series of workshops focused on “Parallel Numerics” that started in 1994. Its 13th workshop was held in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik, on October 28–30.

Parnum is a platform for the exchange of research results in the area of parallel scientific computing, parallel algorithms, and high performance computing.

During the sessions, Ladislav Hluchy (UISAV) chaired the first part of the last session, on Wednesday (30) afternoon. Furthermore, PROCESS contributed to the event with a talk about the paper “Reduction of Radio Astronomical Observations to Sky Maps as an Example of Exascale Data Service”, by Ladislav Hluchý, Jason Maassen, and Hanno Spreeuw.
